Luxury Fractional Ownership Group, Inc. (LFOG) places top priority on maintaining customer information in a secure manner. This privacy notice is for visitors to our site, clients who submit applications, and clients who participate in our services provided by LFOG. It is intended to help you understand how we handle the personal information about you that we collect and may disclose.

Policies and Practices to Protect Personal Information.  We protect personal information that we collect about each client by maintaining physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in accordance with applicable law. Third parties that have access to personal information, such as insurance companies and brokers, background checking services and credit agencies, must agree to follow appropriate standards of security and confidentiality. These third parties, however, are independent of LFOG and LFOG does not have actual control over their use of information. We instruct each of our employees how to properly handle personal information and restrict access to such information.

Categories of Personal Information We Collect and May Disclose.  The personal information we collect about you comes from the following sources:

1.  Information that you provide on applications and other forms or agreements, including name, address, social security number, telephone number, employer, income, vehicle preferences, and similar information.

2.  Information obtained from your driving record and from routine background and credit checks conducted through third party providers of such services, such as consumer reporting agencies.

3.  Information we receive about you from other sources, such as your employer or other third parties.

LFOG does not routinely collect health related information, although the presence of a physical or medical condition which affects a person’s ability to operate a motor vehicle may be brought to our attention or reflected among personal information.  LFOG may use such information in evaluating an application and may disclose such information to insurance brokers or companies in connection with obtaining insurance for a vehicle to be operated by such person.

We may disclose any of the above information to third parties, such as insurance companies and brokers, companies that provide credit and background checking services, and other service providers. 

We utilize personal information for the purpose of evaluating applicants and to provide our services to clients.  From time to time, we may use the personal information that we collect to offer you other products or services that we believe may be of interest to you.  On limited occasions we may provide access to contact information, such as name, address, telephone, or email information (but not other personal information) to selected third party providers of fine products or services that may be of interest to you.  If you prefer not to receive marketing information from us or from other third parties, please send us an email at information@LFOG.net making such request. 

We will also disclose personal information we maintain when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena. We also may disclose such information in response to the request of a law enforcement agency, or in connection with an insurance company’s accident investigation.

From time to time, we may use the personal information we have collected for new, unanticipated uses not previously described in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post those changes on this page. Cookies.  We, along with thousands of websites, use “cookies” to enhance your experience with our site. Cookies are text files we place in your computer’s browser to store your preferences. We cannot use our cookies to determine any personal information about you.
